Bebe is a brilliant leader in Chicago’s UX design scene, an innovator and overall awesome person. I had the pleasure of working with her at Aeropay, and have found her to be an incredible collaborator and thought partner.

I came to experience design through a winding path. I started as an exhibition designer and curator, then spent years working across aviation, media, hospitality, and e-commerce. Different industries, different problems, but I kept becoming more interested in the same thing: how people make sense of what’s in front of them, and how design can make something complicated feel clear.
That curiosity pulled me deeper into UX design. Most recently, I led product design across Aeropay’s fintech ecosystem, working on bank linking and payment experiences, platform initiatives, risk and fraud monitoring tools, and the shared design system behind them. Fintech gave me the kind of problems I like most: complex systems, a lot of ambiguity, and no room for confusion.
I do my best work on problems that need structure, nuance, and systems thinking. I think of design as a product’s body language. People feel it, even when they don’t consciously notice it. Small choices in structure, pacing, language, and flow shape whether an experience feels clear or trustworthy. I believe the strongest products emerge when design, product, and engineering shape the solution together.
Outside of design, I’m usually printmaking, planning my next trip, learning something new, or tending to my plant family.
Stay curious,

Kind words from teammates
Amazing job as always Bebe. You make my life as FE dev much easier and enjoyable with cool designs.
I couldn’t do my job without you! You’re such a great leader and push Aerosync to be better and better.
Bebe is hands-on and closely involved throughout development. Rather than simply handing off finished designs, she regularly shares work in progress to get engineering feedback early. She is always receptive to questions, suggestions, and technical constraints, and cares about making sure engineering has what they need to implement her designs well.
I had the pleasure of hiring and working closely with Bebe during my time as Product Lead at Aeropay. When I first met Bebe, I was immediately impressed with her comprehensive preparation and attention to detail.
One of Bebe’s biggest contributions was pioneering Aeropay’s first design system, which significantly improved consistency across our products while also increasing the productivity of engineers who weren’t designers.
She is one of the most thoughtful and detail-oriented designers I’ve worked with. Her approach is always considered and methodical, and she has a real ability to work through complex or ambiguous problems and bring clarity to them.
Bebe is one of the best UI/UX designers I’ve had the opportunity to work with. She has a great ability to turn complex product problems into simple, thoughtful, and user friendly solutions. She consistently tackled challenging issues head on, worked closely with engineering to understand technical constraints, and found creative solutions even when timelines were tight. She was always open to discussion and focused on finding the best solution for the product rather than just her own perspective. Her systems thinking and attention to detail made a real difference in the products we built together.
What distinguishes Bebe is her rare ability to translate an ambitious executive vision into flawless execution. She combines exceptional organization, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management with a calm, decisive approach to navigating ambiguity and complexity.
